spiritjb.com update: does not always work with itunes 9.1.1, and 9.2 this is how to install cydia on iphone or ipod touch this is a video on how to jailbreak all ipod touches and iphones 3.1.2, 3.1.3 untethered using Spirit on windows and a mac Hey Guys this is GeekisCarnage and today Im going to show you how to jailbreak your ipod touch or iphone. this also jailbreaks the Ipad but Ill have another video for that. This jailbreak is called Spirit. Its very simple and fast. Spirit jailbreaks 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 running on all iphone and ipod touches. That includes the mc model and new iboot users. This is a untethered jailbreak. If you currently are using a tethered jailbreak, you have to restore to use Spirit. Do not upgrade if you use an unlock on an iPhone 3G or 3GS. (You can, however, restore to 3.1.2 if you have SHSH blobs for that version backed up.) So For Iphone users this is not a unlock, its just a jailbreak. and your iphone must activated with a legit carrier for this to work. So for those in the US you must activate with at&t works Any version of iTunes 9 I recommend that before you jailbreak you back up, restore to a fresh firmware and sync with itunes. This works with both the mac and windows. For those of you using a windows pc that run into a error its been said to just right click the spirit app and go to properties and click the compatibility and change it to windows 95 or 98. then right click and run as administrator. a few of my favorite comments …

i finally jailbreak my iTouch, and i use iTunes 9.2..and i cant sync any apps that i downloaded on my iTunes..can you please tell me how to sync with it? do i have to downgrade my iTunes?

@cortezofelpaso97 um save it. and then jailbreak it. then you can delete it. You dont have to install anything on your computer. It just runs. If anything goes wrong just dfu mode it and restore
